Walk the paddocks with one of us to meet the herd, the bull, and the year’s calves, and hear how each bloodline came to the farm. The usual first visit for buyers, and for anyone considering a herd of their own.
If you are thinking about buying, start here. You see how the animals are kept, how they move, and how they take to people.
We meet you by the barn and walk out to the paddock the herd is grazing that week.
Time among the cows and the year’s calves. Most of them will come over to see you.
We stop at the bull’s paddock and talk about his line and his calves, from our side of the fence.
Back at the barn, we open the herd book to the page of any animal you would like to know more about.
Often, yes. Most of the herd is used to people. We will tell you which ones to give room to.
The barn and the first paddock are on level ground. Telephone and we will plan a route that works.
Not at all. Plenty of people come just to meet the herd.
Tell us a few dates that suit you and how many are coming. We confirm by email with the address, what to wear, and what to bring.
